Watch this short five-minute video on how to perform a Remote update. If your Remote needs a software patch, two updates may be required.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the app.

2. Turn on your Remote by pressing the power and Bluetooth buttons simultaneously. The lights will flash purple when the Remote is on.

3. Enable Bluetooth pairing on the Remote. The lights will flash blue when pairing mode is active.

4. In the app, select Remote, then tap Tap to Connect. When prompted to pair, tap Yes.

5. Wait 7 - 10 minutes for the update to complete. Remain on the page during the update.

6. When the update finishes, the Remote will disconnect and reboot to install the new firmware.

7. If the update is successful, the Remote’s lights will flash.

Optional: Repeat this process once more to ensure the Remote is fully updated and no additional update is needed. When you’re done, close the app and continue using the Remote in its normal mode with your device.
